Andrew's love for art has been fostered from his first days, as a toddler hours spent with his mum ( a kindergarten teacher with a degree in early childhood Learning and a true love of creativity). Andrew was never far from paint, glue and glitter, playing with clay, stone and pieces of wood. These connections have well cemented themselves in Andrews "psyche".
After gaining his N.Z Trade Certificate in Carpentry/joinery Andrew's years spent in construction and design of housing, commercial construction, joinery, interior fit-out and the outdoor environment have developed a strong skill base for his real love of creation.
Years of world travel, experiencing places and culture's first hand has also helped develop a unique understanding of concepts and opportunities to develop further valuable skills for creative practice and problem solving.
He is now nearly finished his Bachelor of Applied Arts, an opportunity gladly taken up through life's twists and turns.
His art practice is a direct reflection of his life's travels, friendships developed ( Special thanks to Brad Galloway who's dedication to art has always been an inspiration) and the communities he lives and has lived in.
Now with wonderful family and children who share in his life passions for creative directions, extreme sports, culinary treats and the incredible New Zealand outdoors he finds from this life well lived there is no shortage of inspiration for "social commentary" for art works and creative possibilities.

The industrial hemp (iHemp) industry is only just beginning to explore better ways of harvesting and processing crops to produce the range and quality of hemp-based products available.
Kākāriki Hemp Processing director Andrew Bell has significant knowledge of, and experience with, good manufacturing processes. He has experience in dairy farming and is passionate about offering New Zealand farmers the opportunity to add value to their current practices by growing hemp, and minimising risk by allowing them to hire equipment and test the value hemp brings to their existing farming operations, without the need for significant investment in processing machinery.
KHP sell and hire hemp processing equipment, including seed sorters, seed cleaners, bottling machines, oil machines, de-hullers and pallet extruders. Training on the use of the machinery and Standard Operating Procedures are included in the cost to hire.
Kakariki Hemp Processing Ltd will be on display and ready to chat at NZ Harvest Festival within Industrial Hemp's very own zone, as well as filling NZHF goodie bags with nutritional hemp goodies!
NZ Hemp Brokers was established with the goal of growing New Zealand’s industrial hemp (iHemp) industry and linking licensed local growers and manufacturers with trusted international buyers.

Our online store stocks a growing range of hemp products, from hemp balm and seeds to stock feed and pet food.
