In 2011 Tiki Taane publicly released the song Freedom to sing.
"Freedom To Sing" was the first recording to be released at a 60 minute free concert Tiki held in May 2011, the lyrics of this acoustic song very clearly create and promote an image of peaceful protest against the authorities that attempted to cage Tiki's rites to express his artistic freedom and silence his ability to hype up the crowd into asserting their rites and speaking up as a community.
